We are a family of artisans from Kashmir. Late Ali Muhammad Mugloo my father was a pioneer in papier-mache art in the early 20th century. All his sons relied on papier-mache design and art for a living. When my father died (around 1950-51), I was hardly 1 year old. I Nasir Hussain Mugloo had to make way for my living very early in my life. I began the journey in the world of art at the age of 7 years. Today we are making and creating the world of articles that fascinate the people of the earth. The government of India in 1993 recognized my efforts and skills and helped me to showcase our traditional Kashmiri art in Europe. We are the artisans of paper mache. We make, craft, paint and varnish the decorative Kashmir papier mache goods. Our collection includes vases, lamp bases, lamp shades, wall hangings, wall dividers, bowls, kitchen decor, kitchen painted enamelware,  home decor items, boxes, jewelry boxes, trinket papier mache boxes, festive decor like balls, bells, hanging trees, stars, moons etc.
